I still have to make up mine after school....because I was at D3 (district 3) all day that day at Columbia from 7-4:30! Anyone want to do another one with me???
That was fun disecting that grasshoper. I learned a lot like were the parts are, and i cant wait to do another one. At firts i was scared to tuch it but wen i picked it up i thought that its not that bad. Hey Mr. Keller will we disect a pig? If we do that would be cool! Mindy
This is fun work to do but sometimes i think it's hard but when you co-operation with your partner it's can be easy. after we do this work i was learn something and sometime i know things that i did'nt know and this hand told me to be careful so i'll do that.
sometimes when i am engaged in a deep struggle, with the person who sits behind me in biology, on the topic of harvesting resources, i often reflect on the fact that during these labs this person does more to the creature that is being "researched" than i do when i "harvest" a large mammal. It makes me laugh
i learned a lot from this lab. this was fun because i actually never have gotten really really close to a grasshopper. but i learned a lot from this lab, like what the body part names were and where they were located. i also learned that grasshoppers have six legs which i didn't know before. casey peterson
that was the first time i touched an insect like that....ahhh it wasnt so much fun for me!! but i think i did pretty good specialy after you scared me for holding it wrong!! i learned a lot from this lab, like the fact that grass hoppers have teeth too... they lay eggs, & you can tell them appart because the male's end is sticking up & the females is straight...
This was a cool lab. But oh my gosh did it scare me, I never noticed how scared of grasshoppers I was until then. lol I know it's silly but I was, and I don't know why because I didn't mind the worm and all. I like to disect things and it's a fun process of learning so I'm excited for the other labs.

Thank you Jiminy!! I hope those hands were gentle on you. I can only say that it was in the interest of science.
