We all have visions of our ideal life years from now, however vague; you may hope to go to college, to publish a piece of literature, or to own your first home. Our dreams are as unique and varied as are individuals. But regardless of what you want to achieve in the future, it is imperative to plan in the present. What goals can you set for your Junior year to ensure that you achieve your dreams? Explain how these plans relate to your future.

my goal is for athletics. i want to be all-state in basketball my junior/senior year. but as for grades i want straight "A"s.
My goal is to be a physical therapist. In order to achieve that my junior year will be full of all my sports med classes and I really need to focus on those classes the most. I need to get A's no less than a B though. I need to start looking for scholarships already and look for things to help me achieve all my goals. Maybe get some jobs involving work around people that need physical help. I will need to work very diligently.
my goal is to get my associates degree to be a medical terminologist or a secretary of some sort. well lets see im pretty much a junior already but next year i plan to take alot of medical type classes like medical terminology. i plan to get passing grades so that i can graduate in 2009 like im supposed to. but i dont know where im going to go from there.

My goal is to get straight A's in all of my drafting and my engineering classes for next year. I think that this will be important for my future because it will help me get a scholarship to a good college. The better the college, the better chance that I will get a good job.
well, there are many goals i want to achieve. I know that i want to go into the medical field. So, junior year i have many medical classes. i have that set and so far im following the right path to get towards my goal :]

my goal right now is to get good grades so i'll be able to get a scholarship to a good colloge and then i'll be able to have a better job and provide for my family.
some of the things that i can do my junior year for school is that i plan to take business classes since i would like to go on to college for a business degree. And also get good grades because i would like to get a full ride scholarship to a cool university. So not only would i get the college experience but then i wouldn't have to pay for any of it either!
Well my goal is to become a pharmacist. So for my Junior year, I have signed up for a lot of medical, science, and math classes. I have tried so hard all through school to get straight A's and so far I have achieved that. So I keep planning on doing that so I can get scholarships to help me go to college. I'm also planning on taking 4 years of a foreign language and I've been involved with leadership. I'm just working hard, getting myself out there. Also cheerleading helps too.
definetley to keep my grades up and just to never give up on school...which is something that is easy to do when we dont give a %100 in class. Also just keeping my eyes on the prize,(which is the future that i want for myself), lastly what i do is constantly remind myself of my goals that i want to acheive, it helps to keep my priorites straight and to not make stupid decisions.
My goal is to change the world. I've havne't decided how yet, but it'll probably be in the medical field. So what I can do my junior year is start taking medical oriented classes and try to excel at them. I can also start looking or scholarships to go to a very good medical school like ISU or something. All I know is that I'm really going to have to work a lot to achieve my goal.

my goals in life include first off
graduating highschool not very many people in my family do that so ive always aspired to. then to go to cosmetology school to save up money to go to USC for a degree in law or something along those lines. i also would like to travel the world and i think that ways to get here are never give up and always do your best.

my goal is to reach college on a full ride scholarship either in sports or maybe academic related too. after college ideally i would love to play a pro sport but realisticly i would like to go to oregon and get a sports marketing business degree and be a sports marketer for NIKE
My goal in life, is to achieve to the maximum that i could possibly reach.. by starting with getting straight A's or at least working hard and not slack off on easy work, because i can't slack off if it may affect my future. I want to do my best in sports, i don't expect much out of it, but only academics. I am not sure on the specific career for me now, i still have more choices to choose from, but hopefully i could figure out one during the summer. I just want to live life day by day to the best i can do and hopefully it will put me on the right track for the future i want.

i would love to be a equine vet or marine biologist. to achieve this goal next year i need to not procrastante. everyone knows that i do, ;) haha, and i guess the first step is admitting it, but i did that last year its the next step that im really trying to work on even now.
keller bring my BOOK!!!
please :)

Dreams are supposed to be those fantasy-like images we keep in our imagination. To actually achieve them, and to look back when you're old and gray to say, "I did everything I wanted to and still have time to relax," is perpetual.
So for the timebeing, I'm going to do my job as a teen and get all the way through school hassle-free for the most part, and have some fun along with it to keep myself alive.

I am already grown up, but if I could change I would be a spy for our government. I think that would be really cool. However, I would never do it now because I have a family and would not want to risk my daughter growing up without her dad.
I have two goals that I can work towards in my Junior year. These deal with different aspects of life, but I believe they are related in determining overall happiness.
My first long-term goal is to have a career in a field of biology, perhaps genetics or evolutionary biology. This goes hand in hand with getting into a respected university and getting an appropriate degree. By no means am I certain of this as my career choice, but as of now, it is what I am interested in. To accomplish this goal, I plan to continue reading extensively on these subjects and to do more work and research than required in my biology and other science classes next year. However, I will certainly not slack in other classes or in volunteer work; major colleges require resumes that show balanced dedication to all aspects of academics and to your community. I will also make steps toward my future goal if I get college credits in high school, as I will then have more time and resources in college to apply towards advanced classes in my major.
As I have mentioned previously, my second long-term goal is related to my first in my happiness, success, and even health. This goal is to reduce my levels of stress. If I cannot accomplish this, then getting into the most prestigious college, landing the best job, it would all be in vain, for I would not be truly happy but plagued with constant worries. In the short-term, I will try to learn to restore order to consciousness and reduce entropy causing anxiety by simply taking things as they come and reflecting upon myself whenever I have worries. It quickly becomes evident that the many things we worry about work out in the long run. Although these short-term goals and the future goal to reduce stress are not things to be worked on in just the Junior year, but is an ongoing process, I feel that it is important to mention: if we focus on a career or materialistic goal, we may forget to reflect upon ourselves and to develop skills that will help us deal with the many stressful events that we will encounter.
I have basically have two goals in life; one, to either be a teacher or a vet, and two, to have a loving group of friends and family.
To accomplish the first I plan to take many classes that will challenge me and provide information about the either career. I plan to work hard and get the best grade possible.
To accomplish the second I plan to keep in touch with all my friends, not just those at school. Though I am sure I will have a lot of work to do, I still don't want to lose those friendships. Also, I plan to continue doing community service. One of the best ways to make friends is to help someone. For example, I am currently involved in a puppet team with some of my very close friends. We have gone many times to the Salvation Army to put on a puppet show, so I not only do I now know many of the kids there, but I also have some great friends on the team.
With these ideas I am sure I can succeed. I may change my career choice but if I continue to try my hardest to reach my dreams, whatever they are, I am positive I can succeed

my plans are to go to college and become a vet to achieve this goal i have to graduate high school and about ten years of college my junior yr i can not slack and make sure i keep good grades and hopefully get a job to help pay for credits i can get in high school and college. an fill out as many possibl scholarships as i can
in college i am going to double major in psychology and spanish, so i plan to take these classes next year. I am also going to try and achieve straight A's in all of my classes but no less than a B.
One of my largest goals would be to become a forensic psychologist or a clinical psychologist in the future. To prepare, I need to have a good background in a lot of different subjects and be able to understand thought process well. I am going to challenge myself and take harder classes so I can be ready for that kind of career, I will also be taking a psychology class my Junior year. I'm hoping to achieve a 4.0 all year if at all possible, and to keep on studying out the various possibilities of the career. Another goal that has to do with my career goal would be attending either U.C. Berkley or BYU Idaho. I'm hoping to work for scholarships so that I can attend either of these colleges.
I have a lot of goals in life; however, for my Junior year a few of my goals. One big one is to pass all my classes with A's and B's.
2. I am going to take drafting I, Auto I, Chinese, Digital Electronics, Web Design and Animation to further my in education towards becomming either an arospace/mechanical engineer or a graphic designer.
I'm not really sure what I want to do as a career, but I think it would either be a homemaker, writer, teacher, or college professor. I really want to be able to write a book sometime during my lifetime. And most importantly, I want to change the world in some way, no matter how big or small. In order to achieve any one of those, I want to have straight A's in all my Junior yr classes and I definitely want to graduate with an associates' degree. And then from there I want to have a really good scholarship that will get me all through college. Hopefully by then I'll have a family of my own and a circle of close friends, so I can just settle down and have an awesome job and/or raise a family.

In the future i want to see my self living on my own finished with college and making a good income to support my self and not have to depend on others. For next year what i can do is get good grades and graduate early and stay out of trouble. This will help me be a better person in the future.
Adri
i want to obtain a high gpa, get into the national honor society for a second time. i would also like to keep up on my volunteering and to also increase my volunteer hours. these things will set me up for great scholarships, and college oppurtunities.
In the future I want to be an athletic trainer, and I am taking a couple classes next year to help me out with that profession. I am taking sports med and medical terminalogy, those should be pretty helpful.
iiiiiii
really dont know
im really stuck right now
and dont know where im going
or what i want
so
until i decide [[if i ever do]]
i think all that i can do
is start giving it all in everything i do
-sports definitely, especially basketball
-school
-my position in the school government
that way, when i look back, ill at least appreciate the way i lived my life the way i want
but whatever happens, i want to love what i do
and live my life w passion
which means that even if i get crazy things thrown at me [[say, like, if my teacher makes me slice and dice up a frog]] im going to love every minute of it bc lifes too short
i guess those are all of my goals right now :]

Well for starters I can make sure that I do better with my classes next year and that means higher grades and with high grade I can get better job bigger pay check bigger paycheck nice car etc...
Well my dreams are to own a nice house on around eight acres of land up in the hills somewhere.
the goals for my junior year would have to include: getting the grades I know I can have, making sure I plan ahead and do what I need to do to be successful. all these goals can help me with college and makin sure I get where I need to be to become z physical therapist. being a physical therapist is my higest goal and my dream. and I will achieve it.
